“Hi my name is David, I’m the founder and Executive Director at Life Transformation Recovery. I’m here today to talk about our philosophy, at Life Transformation, which is very unique. Basically we believe that when someone is an addict or an alcoholic, they don’t have to stay that way. You don’t have to be an addict for the rest of your life. We believe that you can be set free from addiction. Completely set free. It’s not something that has to be a pattern of relapse, of trying to get back on the wagon, and get your life back together and then feel a little better for awhile and then relapse again. We don’t believe that. We believe you can be completely set free through the power of God to change someone.
The Bible says “if any man is in Christ he is a new creation. Old things pass away and all things become new,” and that’s something that we see here every day here at Life Transformation. Lives are powerfully changed. I’ve met so many people that struggled to stay clean. It could be alcohol, it could be heroin, it could be many different things, but many times they say “man, the cravings were so bad, that’s why I always relapse,” but when they come into our program here, we see powerful life changes, where most of the time people will come in and be surprised, they’ll be amazed. “Wow, I don’t have cravings, I haven’t even thought about drugs or alcohol,” and it really is a miracle, but that’s what we love, because you can be completely changed and you can be set free.
